HOW TO: Determine the value of a column before it was updated
Solution:
When processing updates from a PowerExchange CDC source,a new column containing the value of a column before an update can be added to the Source Qualifier. This new column (of the form DTL__BI_<column name>) is added to the PowerExchange Extraction Map in the Navigator. When the extraction map is imported into Designer, it will be available in the Source Qualifier to be used in the PowerCenter mapping.
