As you may already know, a few months ago, Panorama announced our renewed strategic partnership with Microsoft. To take this relationship to the next level, we are proud to share with you that Panorama is the first ISV to extend its SQL Server Analysis Services support to natively support Microsoft's new PowerPivot (formerly known as Project Gemini), Microsoft's innovative in-memory based data platform.
PowerPivot will become a key foundation for our offering that will help customers get more out of their BI investments. Customers who use Panorama Universal Data Connector today will have a smooth migration process into PowerPivot when it’s available.
Amir Netz, Senior Architect for Microsoft SQL Server BI, says: "We have invested a lot of time and effort developing PowerPivot into a leading in-memory engine, Panorama is taking major steps towards integrating it with its comprehensive BI offering, and we expect the company to drive new, innovative solutions based on our new technology."
